Guild membership is open to anyone. Attendance at meetings and involvement in guild activities is encouraged. The success of our guild depends upon the participation of members and the open exchange of expertise and ideas. ABOUT US
Bayside Quilters of the Eastern Shore is a guild committed to the creation, study, and sharing of quilts and quilt making. We have proudly been serving our community for more than 30 years. We encourage members to practice and improve their skills through regular meetings, bees and classes. Active involvement in outreach and education programs allows us to share our knowledge and love of textiles while giving back to our community.
COMING MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS IN 2026
The regular schedule for the Bayside Quilters meeting is the second Wednesday of each month, with social time starting at 9 am and the businees meeting starting at 9:30 am, followed by the program. All meetings and classes are held on the second floor of the Trappe Volunteer Firehouse in Trappe, MD unless otherwise noted.
Annual Luncheon
August 12, 11 am, Trappe Firehouse
Please join us for our annual luncheon to celebrate the end of our year and installaion of officers for 2026-2027. Note the change in meeting time to 11 am.
In addition to lunch, we will present prizes from the Log Cabin Challenge based on the voting at the July meeting. There will be awards for Viewer's Choice based on your votes in July and a judged award selected by Tara Miller. Please bring your quilt if you entered the Log Cabin Challenge so that we can associate the quilts with the creators. All participants will receive a swag bag of appreciation.
